Event Type: Adult Programs Date: 11/16/2011 Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 8:00 PM Description: On Wednesday, November 16, at 7 p.m. at the Noblesville Library, Liz Tash, volunteer coordinator for Amedisys Hospice, will provide information about hospice care. Hospice is a special form of care that is designed to provide comfort and support for those who are facing a life-limiting illness. It is a compassionate form of caring that promotes dignity and affirms quality of life for the patient, family members, and their loved-ones. Hospice teams include an attending physician, a hospice physician, nurses, home health aids, social workers, therapists, volunteers, religious support, and bereavement coordinators. Take time to learn about hospice care before the need arises and reduce the stress associated with helping a loved one through their final days. This program is free, registration is requested but not required. To Register call the library at 776-6939 or online at www.hepl.lib.in.us.
