Every Hero Has a Story Open House

Celebrate our hometown heroes at the Noblesville Library from 11:00-3:00! Local heroes will be here to share their stories. Janet Gilray will show us that every folk hero has a story during a 1:00 and a 2:00 show and Wacky Wilbanks will be onsite to paint faces or make you a balloon sculpture between 11:30-2:30. A Noblesville Police Squad car and officer and the ATF Bomb Squad with a bomb sniffing dog will be in the library parking lot from 11:00-3:00. Come touch a firetruck and ambulance between 2:00-3:00 p.m. Be a fitness hero at a kids' Zumba class from 11:00-12:00 on the lower level or participate in a Defender Training Demo/Lesson in the meeting room on the main level. Learn about the Korean War from American hero Charles Layton from 11:00-2:00 and meet superheroes, Iron Man and The Batman, between 11:00-1:00. Therapy dogs from Love on a Leash will be here from 11:00-3:00 to help you learn about what it takes for a dog to become a therapy dog. There is something for everyone, so come join the fun!
