Genealogy Roundtable: Focus on Timelines

Event Details

The widespread availability of so many records allows us to really delve into our ancestors’ lives. The trick is to organize what we know in such a way that it puts their lives into perspective. Timelines are a great way to put our ancestor’s life in chronological order together with world events that shaped the decisions he/she made. Participants share timelines they created around an ancestor telling others how they did it and what resources were used to include world events. This is an informal discussion group and registration is not required.
