Event Type: Adult Program Age Group(s): Adult Date: 11/14/2012 Start Time: 10:00 AM End Time: 2:00 PM Description: The Alzheimer’s Association will present this program that is designed for caregivers to learn about the late-stage of Alzheimer’s. Caregivers will learn the concept of the self in the late-stage of Alzheimer’s disease as well as learn effective ways to communicate, connect with, and provide daily care in the late-stage. The program will also cover late-stage care options and explain how to access and evaluate them.
Library: Johnson County Public Library - White River BranchThe program will take place at the Johnson County Library, White River Branch, 1664 Library Blvd., Greenwood on Wednesday, November 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required by calling the Alzheimer's Association at 800-272-3900.
