A Visit to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy

 THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES REGISTRATION; PLEASE REGISTER EACH MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY INDIVIDUALLY AND SEPARATELY SO THERE WILL BE ENOUGH SPACES. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WHO HAS NOT REGISTERED. REGISTRATION ENDS AT 9 P.M. ON AUGUST 16. ATTENDEES MUST BE AGE 12 OR OLDER. Headquartered in Plainfield the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy is the state's center for law enforcement education, providing training for police officers and other law enforcement personnel. Staff from the academy will conduct a tour of the facilities as well as give demonstrations that may include emergency driving, physical tactics, a firearms simulation, or K-9 dog handling. The program is free; attendees should arrive early, park in the academy's parking lots on either the north or south sides of the building, enter the building near the flags, and gather in the foyer near the reception desk to check in. Tour will start promptly at 11 a.m. and last around 1 hour. The academy is located at 5402 South County Road 700 East (Sugar Grove Road).
