In today's day and age, reading a nutrition label can be a challenging task, one that many Americans ignore or interpret incorrectly. This is one reason that more that one-third of the adults in the United States are obese (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2015). Therefore, in an effort to eat better and live healthier lives, it is important to decode the nutrition label and figure out how to make healthier food choices
