Minecraft Open Play is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:30 p.m.  All ages are welcome to play the educational version of Minecraft in the computer classroom on the second floor of the Noblesville Library. Children under the age of 12 should have an adult with them since this is not a supervised program.

Over the course of three classes, students will learn the basic concepts of coding. Projects include learning to program Star Wars droids using JavaScript, making your own Flappy Bird game, and creating a story or game with Play Lab.

Participants must be between the ages of 8 and 14. In signing up for the first class in the series, you are signing up for the entire 3-class series (July 7, 14, and 21). You do NOT have to have taken Coding for T(w)eens: Part 1 to take Part 2.

Calling all Whovians! Doctor Who Comics Day is an annual global event celebrating Doctor Who comics by leading publisher Titan Comics.  Fire up your TARDIS and set the coordinates for the Fishers Library. You're invited to join us to celebrate The Doctor and the wonderful BBC television program, Doctor Who. We'll have crafts, activities and check out some Doctor Who books & comics. Show your spirit and dress up as your favorite Doctor Who character (appropriate attire only please). Teens only (Grades 6-12).

The music theme for all bingo games will feature Indiana musicians and song titles/subjects as we celebrate this great state's bicentennial anniversary. Happy 200th Birthday, Indiana! Welcome to the 2016 Hamilton East Public Library Summer Reading Program: Summer Under the Stars for Teens! Registration begins May 1st, but the actual reading fun doesn't start until June! This programs runs from June 1st through July 31st and is open to everyone from students entering sixth grade (Fall 2016)through current year high school graduates. The goal of this program is to read or listen to 1816 pages to earn a free book of your choice! This program has an unlimited number of levels of 400 pages each (which is about 2 books). Once you complete and record each of the levels, you are entered to win valuable prizes! Good luck!

Having trouble registering? Due to a software upgrade, participants may need to create individual accounts rather than use a previously active User Name and Password. We apologize for the issues this may cause and are always available to help!

Make sure when logging in that you are in the "correct" program: Summer Under the Stars for Kids, Summer Under the Stars for Teens, or Summer Under the Stars for Adults. Double check the tabs at the top of the Reading Program Page to make sure you're in the right spot! If you are logging as a teen, the tab highlighted will be "Summer Under the Stars for Teens." Otherwise, you may receive an error message.
